About me
Initially, I was trained as a painter, and always loved the tactile qualities of paint and canvas. Since obtaining my BFA and MFA Degrees in Painting, I have worked in textiles, illustration and graphic design. Additional education has included an MA in Illustration and continued studies in design. I am active as both a freelance illustrator/designer, as an exhibiting artist, and as an educator. I currently chair the Fine Arts Department at Benedict College in Columbia, SC.
